I would like us to better protect the interests of France in terms of influence in international sports organizations, the attractiveness of our territory for major events, the conquest of new markets for our companies at the international level. That is why I wanted, in consultation with all stakeholders, to start working on a new approach to coordinating our international activities in terms of a sports impact strategy. This does not replace the prerogatives of our respective institutions, but strengthens them to help us better share and communicate what we do with each other, pool our strengths and our resources on common issues whose action, relevance and effectiveness depend on our coordination; In short, do better together. At a time when France is preparing for the presidency of the European Union, this new tool will increase the influence of our country. » Roxana MARACHINEANU, Minister Delegate for Sports
