Martinique is fully integrated into the adventure of the Paralympic Games in Pa.

Martinique’s bid has been selected by the Paris 2024 Olympic Committee on Friday 8 April 2022. Martinique is embarking on a Paralympic Games adventure. This badge aims to highlight excellence and promote even more sport in everyday life throughout Martinique.

France for the first time in its history is preparing to host the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8, 2024. The event will be attended by 4350 athletes from 182 delegations authorized to take part in various events in 22 Paralympic sports.

The sign “Terre de Jeux 2024” is intended for all levels of local government and the sports movement (federations, CROS-CDOS, CTOS) who wish, regardless of their size and means, to participate in the adventures of the Games.

The candidacy of Martinique “Label of the land of games 2024” was defended by the delegation of CTM and CTOSMA last March. The final decision will be announced on Friday April 8, 2022 Serge Letchimi, President of the CTM Executive Board, and Yannick Étienne-Notte, President of the Martinique Sports Institute.

Under this label, we bring Martinique into the Olympic and Paralympic adventure. In this way, Martiniqueans will be able to experience the emotions of the Olympic Games. Through sport, which is a vector of change in daily life and strengthening our collective cohesion, we have the opportunity to open new windows and opportunities for everyone.
